Request for Bids 1030 Oakdale Ave San Francisco CA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT San Francisco Housing Development Corporation (SFHDC) will accept bids from firms that deem themselves qualified to enter a contract to furnish all labor, materials, and related costs to replace the HVAC system and Hot Water Heater at 1030 Oakdale Ave, San Francisco CA. Scope of Work: • Shutoff lockout and tag line voltage electrical to all furnaces. • Shutoff disconnect and cap off ½” gas line to all furnaces. • Disconnect and remove all furnaces from supply/return air sheet metal. • Clean supply/return air duct work at point of connection. • Provide and install in the mechanical rooms of the five classrooms (5) RUUD model R801TA050314MXA 50,000 BTU up-flow gas furnace. • Provide and install in the larger classroom front of building (1) RUUD R801TA100521ZXB 100,000 BTU down-flow gas furnace. • Provide and install sheet metal transitions between new furnaces and existing supply/return air duct work. • Provide and install ½” gas line modifications with new gas flex with shutoff valve. • Provide and install line voltage electrical modifications. • Provide and install (6) new Honeywell T6 digital programmable thermostats. • Provide and install (1) new AO Smith 40-gallon hot water heater with new cold water isolation valve new ½” gas flex with shutoff valve, new seismic metal straps and flue pipe modifications. • Prepare each pay draw and submit to the Project Manager a week prior to processing with the city. • Comply with DIR reporting to verify prevailing wage requirements. • Obtain a permit for construction of the HVAC and plumbing system. • Attend DBI inspections and obtain final sign off on the work. • Submit as-built drawings of the HVAC system. • If required file title 24 documents with appropriate government agency and provide final documents to client upon project completion. • Commission, test, balance the HVAC system(s) as appropriate to the equipment installed. • Provide warranty information for the HVAC system and Hot Water Heater. All work shall be performed in compliance with associated City of San Francisco building code requirements, which may include additional requirements specified by the Mayor’s Office on Disability (MOD). The project site is located at 1030 Oakdale Ave, San Francisco CA 94124 Site walk is mandatory and will be scheduled on April 13th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. SUMMARY SFHDC is leasing administrative and programming space at 1030 Oakdale Ave. Various program activities serving community residents are offered at the community center daily throughout the week. SFHDC is currently requesting bids from licensed contractors to provide services for the work specified in the section titled Scope of Work. PROJECT MANAGER SFHDC has hired Ventura Development and Consulting Partners, LLC (dba Ventura Partners) to act as the project manager.
