Bonners Ferry Ranger District, Boundary County, Idaho. The project involves decommissioning 16.79 miles of roads in the Myrtle Creek drainage and surrounding area. Work will consist of Category 1, Category 2 or Category 3 stream restoration, full and partial recontour of road prism, waterbar construction, deep ripping of roadways, culvert removal, brushing, equipment rental and seeding. To maintain Grizzily Bear security in these Bear Management Units (BMUs) it is nessesary to break this project into 2 divisions; Division 1 shall be started and completed in 2008 and division 2 shall started and completed in 2009. The Government estimate is between $100,00 and $250,000. The estimated start date is July-08 with an estimated completion date of September-08. This project will be set-aside for hub-zone certified.
