The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources such as service disabled veteran-owned business, veteran owned business, women-owned small business, 8(a), HubZone, small disadvantage, etc. relative to NAICS 624229, size standard $7.0M. Responses will be used to determine appropriate acquisition decisions. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS) Medical Center, East Campus (2400 Hospital Road Tuskegee, AL 36083) and West Campus (345 Perry Hill Road Montgomery, AL 36109) is seeking sources for a potential contract to provide Halfway House Services for eligible veterans referred from the CAVHCS Medical Center. The contractorââ¬â¢s facility must be within 30 miles of the East Campus or West Campus of the CAVHCS Medical Center. The contractorââ¬â¢s facility must also be located within .50 miles from access to the Public Transit System. The intended contract is anticipated as a one base year of 220 days, with one (1) one year option period. Note that this requirement mandates that a contractor be able to pass inspection within 30 days of proposal submission. Responses to this sources sought must include: 1.
