THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION.
The Directorate of Emergency Services, at the United States Miltiary Academy, West Point, NY has a requirement for the purchase and installation of 2 Power Load Stretchers and Cots. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to complete all work in accordance with these specifications, in a space provided by DES or at the Contractor's facility. If at the Contractor's facility, Contractor would be responsible for pickup and return. This equipment will be installed in 2 ambulances.
Complete the following tasks for each ambulance:
Item 1 - Remove current cot retention system; return all parts to the West Point Fire & Emergency Services.
Item 2 - Supply and install all items necessary for operation of the power load system, ensuring that upon completion they system operates as intended.
Item 3 - Ensure upon completion all other electrical systems function the same as when the work began (such as lights, radios, fans).
Item 4 - Provide and install Power-Pro Ambulance Cot with all items listed in the contact.
Item 5 - Provide and install spare battery and charger for Power-Pro Cot in a location agreed upon with the below listed representative of the West Point Fire & Emergency Services or the CO.R
Item 6 - Upon completion and delivery, provide training session to cover operation and maintenance of the unit to include all items on the Power-Load training checklist.
Item 7 - Provide training video and operations/maintenance manual.
Item 8 - Complete work in 7 business days; to include pickup and return, if applicable (for each ambulance)
Item 9 -- Complete all work on one ambulance at a time; one of the two ambulances must remain in service at West Point at all times.
The stretcher system allow the patient to be loaded and unloaded into the ambulance with a touch of a button.
