The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, intends to modify the existing three-year, firm-fixed-price, supply-type contract N00164-07-D-4270, awarded to Rheinmetall Waffe Munition GMBH, DBA Niederlasssung Nico Trittau, Bei Der Feuerwerkerei 4, Trittau 22946, Germany. The total estimated contract amount will increase from $21,900,000 to $40,000,000. The contract will remain a three-year contract. This contract action will be conducted on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy the Government?s requirement.
