However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable.The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division anticipates awarding a contract modification to ALLIANT TECHSYSTEMS, INC., DBA LAKE CITY AMUNITION DIVISION, INDEPENDENCE, MO, CAGE: 1PHL2 under the SOST ammunition contract, N00164-08-C-JN08, a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Definite quantity contract in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. At this time the Government is working toward but does not yet have a complete Technical Data Package (TDP) suitable for full and open competition for these specialized Special Operations Science and Technology (SOST) rounds developed by ATK in response to NSWC Crane BAA N00164-08-R-JS14. The Government still anticipates a follow-on competitive action upon completion of this action.The government intends to modify the contract to add 250,000 5.56mm SOST rounds packaged in A063 Mil Pack. Military packaging required; 5.56MM packaged in A063 Pack which is 1,640 rounds per wire bound box. Delivery of the rounds will be required NLT 30 Days after Contract Award and shall be FOB destination, NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane, IN. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation.
