The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services (OAS), on behalf of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory (NPPTL) intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order to a contractor for development of a NaCl test chamber in accordance with the attached Request for Quote (RFQ).

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for simplified acquisition procedure items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is RFQ #19-Q-33310.

OFFERORS ARE ADVISED AN AWARD MAY BE MADE WITHOUT DISCUSSION OR ANY CONTACT CONCERNING THE QUOTE RECEIVED. Offerors should not assume they will be contacted or afforded the opportunity to revise quotes prior to award; therefore, all quotes should contain offerors' best terms from a technical and price standpoint. All quotes must include the name, address, and DUNS number of the business to be awarded the purchase order as well as the name, phone number, and email address of the person who will accept the purchase order on behalf of the successful offeror. Offerors must cite RFQ #19-Q-33310 on their quote.

To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, the offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of the purchase order in accordance with FAR Clause 52.204-7. Evaluation and award of responses shall be performed in accordance with FAR 13.106-2 Evaluation of Quotations or Offers and FAR 13.106-3 Award and Documentation. RFQ #19-Q-33310 is attached to this announcement. Offerors are cautioned to read all information and follow all instructions contained in the RFQ. Failure to submit all required information may result in a proposal being ineligible for award. It is the offeror's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Upon evaluation of all quotes, the Government intends to award to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror.
