This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which, if timely received, will be considered by the Agency. Contract will be evaluated on Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA).
 
Soundproof chamber Specs Sheet:

NAMRU-Dayton has a need for one soundproof chamber in order to perform distortion product otoacoustic emission (DPOAE) and auditory brainstem response (ABR) tests in rodents.  This chamber must be large enough to work with the necessary equipment and rodent, but be small enough to fit through the laboratory doors. The chamber must also be electrically shielded to prevent electrical noise interference. The walls must be at least 4 inches thick and lined with soundproofing material for noise attenuation and there needs to be at least one cable port. The chamber must also come with a stand for proper working height, casters to move it when needed, and a window and interior light with an exterior switch for viewing inside the chamber.
