A Special Response Team (SRT) provides security escort for our deliveries to the destruction site every time destruction is required, therefore the distance to/from the site is important. For safety/security of our forces, travel should be within 30 miles radius from Zip Code 11430 and destruction must take place within the same business day, including destruction time and travel to and from the Facility. Facility must be pre-approved by Laboratories and Scientific Services (LSS), Internal Affairs (IA), and the Security Management Division for compliance with DHS/CBP policies. Facilities must have a permit from EPA to destroy Schedule 1-5 narcotics and FDA prohibited substances.

• The weights of the narcotics destroyed in "US tons" could range from 26.37 US tons to 71.61 US tons.

· Narcotics will be brought in by 26 foot truck with a law enforcement escort. Destruction must take place while law enforcement is on the premises and a receipt must be provided for the weight of the destroyed product.

•· Narcotics are packaged in evidence bags, buckets or boxes (36x24x24 or 20x20x20).

•· You must be able to provide the following certification upon request.

•ü Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certified

•ü ISO-14001 certification for Environmental Management System (EMS),

•ü Shall meet all Federal, state and local regulatory requirements.

•ü US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
