The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) is seeking capabilities statements for the performance of AFRC Protective Services (APS) at NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center, Edwards California and a geographically separated facility approximately 35 miles south of AFRC in Palmdale, California (Air Force Plant 42, Site 9).

The APS requirements may include the following services and/or support:

(1) Security: Physical Security (to include Armed Uniformed Services and Physical Access Control), Resource Protection, Personnel Security (to include Identity Management and Credentialing), Information Security, Industrial Security, Security Investigations, Locksmith (to include Security Containers), and Protective Services' Control Center Operations (to include 911 Caller Services, Alarm Monitoring and Emergency Response Dispatch); and Export Control Support;

(2) Emergency Management: Emergency Management, Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP), Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and Incident Management Support;

(3) Communications Security (COMSEC), Assistant COMSEC Account Manager; and

(4) Security Systems Support: Security IT Infrastructure, CCTV and Access Control.

 

This requirement's NAICS code is 561612 - Security Guards and Patrol Services with a size standard of $20.5M annually.

Interested offerors/vendors having the required specialized capabilities to meet the above requirement should submit a capability statement. The capability information, exclusive of the one-page summary, shall NOT exceed ten (10) pages(including attachments) and shall contain a font size of 12. it should be submitted electronically to Ms. Jenny Staggs at [email protected].

The one page summary shall include:
(1) Company's name, address, primary POC and telephone number, (2) Size of business, (3) Applicable NAICS Code(s), and (4) DUNS number and CAGE code.

A commercial item is defined in FAR 2.101. Responses shall include the company's specific area of interest in this acquisition as being either a potential prime contractor or subcontractor.
