State Conservation Commission (SCC) will work with interested Washington nurseries to support native plant propagation as a part of the Riparian Plant Propagation Program (RPPP). The aim of this program is to increase the availability of native trees and shrubs to address the critical shortage of plants needed for riparian (streamside) restoration projects to support salmon recovery efforts. SCC is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to gather relevant information needed for SCC to issue an initial limited-scope Request for Proposals (RFP), with an end date of June 30, 2023. This RFI will provide information for a larger scale RFP beginning July 1, 2023. The information gathered in this RFI will play a crucial role in ensuring that funding addresses the specific needs of nurseries to support propagation of locally sourced native trees and shrubs.
