The Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) (AIR 2.5.1.6), Patuxent River, MD 20670 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis Solicitation N00421-15-R-0039 with Morehouse Instrument Company, Inc. Sixth Avenue, York, PA 17403-2675.
 
The Government intends to procure the following items below:

P/N 1000-30k 30,000 LBF Proving Ring QTY 1
P/N 1000-60k 60,000 LBF Proving Ring QTY 1
P/N 1000-100K 100,000 LBF Proving Ring QTY 1

The NAICS Code is 334515 with a size standard of 500 employees. The PSC Code is 6695. Morehouse Instrument Company, Inc. is the only manufacture that produces the units and parts listed above. This action is being pursued on a sole source basis under statutory authority of Citation 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. While this notice of intent is for information purposes only, and not a request for competitive proposals, interested parties may identify their interest and technical capability, respond to this requirement, and may submit information, which shall be considered by the NAWCAD. The Government retains the right not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice
