The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to negotiate an order with Acquire Media Corporation, 3 Becker Farm Road, Suite 204, Roseland, NJ 07068. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and only one responsible source will satisfy agency requirements. The contractor shall provide newswire services as an integrated feature of NewsEdge's Insight. Insight's features include the daily delivery of personalized newsletters based on the profiles of PBGC staff's monitoring inventory. Delivery and availability of these news services is an integral component of the PBGC Early Warning Program. The Government is unaware of any other source that can provide the required electronic services. The period of performance for this requirement is one year.

This notice is not a request for competitive quotes, but a notice of intent. However, interested parties may submit their capability statements, and qualifications for the services no later than 2:00pmEST on 12 August 2011, which may be considered by the agency for purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
