The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Abacus-N-Bytes Inc dba TCS Associates Inc for the Nextalk Telephony software license. This requirement is for the licensing and maintenance of an already installed software suite. This award is to maintain the integrity of the existing license. This notice of intent to solicit on the basis of other than full and open competition to acquire the software license is based on the reasoning that Abacus-N-Bytes is the sole source provider of Nextalk Telephony Services for the IRS facility located at 250 Murall Drive Kearneysville, WV 25430. The anticipated award date is July 29, 2009 for a period of performance from August 1,2009 thru July 31,2010. A determination by the Government to conduct a full and open competition of this contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
