The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806- 5000, on behalf of the Product Director Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), sole source modification under contract W15QKN-14-D-0106, to extend support for the procurement of Next Generation Automated Test Systems (NGATS) Consoles with Boeing, for a period of two (2) additional years. A letter of contemplation will be released on or about Tuesday 23 May 2019 directly to Boeing. The authority to sole-source this action directly to Boeing is provided for under Title 10 United States Code (U.S.C) Section 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements - Unacceptable delays. The ceiling of $102,000,000 remains unchanged, and will not be increased. This action merely extends the contract term two (2) years.
