The Thermo NXR Raman module is not a stand-alone instrument and cannot operate without being connected to Thermo 6700 FT-IR. The Thermo Nicolet 6700 FT-IR Advanced Gold Spectrometer is fully compatible with the NXR Raman and will allow the unit to be put in operational status. Thermo is the only manufacturer and distributer of the Thermo Nicolet 6700 FT-IR Advanced Gold Spectrometer. Other manufacturers' FT-IR systems are not compatible with the NXR Raman (a $90,000 piece of equipment) and would render the unit unusable.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334516, and the size standard is 500 Employees.
