This is a synopsis for commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Part 12. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for commercial waste removal and recycling services at three National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) facilities located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The RFQ is expected to be released mid-September 2024. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price contract with a base option period (12-months/1-year) and four (12-month/1-year) option periods. The period of performance will be:
Base Period: 11/03/2024 through 11/02/2025
Option 1: 11/03/2025 through 11/02/2026
Option 2: 11/03/2026 through 11/02/2027
Option 3: 11/03/2027 through 11/02/2028
Option 4: 11/03/2028 through 11/02/2029
Specific locations and additional scope of work details are included in the attached Statement of Work.
The Government anticipates that this will be a 100% small business set-aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 562111, Solid Waste Collection, and small business size standard of $47 million.
