THIS IS A NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION (NOCA); THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOCA OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS NOCA IS TO NOTIFY INDUSTRY OF THE USAF'S INTENT OF CONTRACT ACTION AND POSSIBLY GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF OTHER POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.) PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST.

AFTC/PZIOA, Edwards AFB intends to solicit and award a BPA to Verizon Wireless.
This will be for the 412 CS group. This acquisition falls under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 "Commercial items".

The 412 CS has a requirement to provide Edwards work force personnel with wireless services to include Blackberrys, I-Phones, cell phones, I-Pads, air cards and broadband services through Verizon Wireless. The required total support will be NTE 1500 lines of services. Voice service will include Blackberry and cell phones calls domestically and globally as required. The Push-to-Talk feature will be a secondary form of communication in place of voice calls as required. Data services will be unlimited for Blackberry, I-Phones, I-Pads, and broadband cards domestically only. The Period of Performance for this requirement will be 01 Oct 2014 - 30 Sep 2015

The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334210 and the size standard is 1000. Any interested parties believing they can meet all the requirements listed above, may submit a response. All information furnished shall be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow the government representative to evaluate and determine if it can meet the requirement.
