Combined Synopsis and Solicitation: RFQ-CO2010510004 Advisory Assistance Services/Project Analyst for the USTDA Latin America and Caribbean Regional is being issued as a RFQ. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The government may make one or more awards as a result of this solicitation. Two copies of your quote are due no later than 12 noon, Eastern Time on April 20, 2010 to Contracting Office, U. S. Trade and Development Agency, 1000 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 1600, Arlington, VA 22209-3901. Quotes submitted by email to [email protected] or hard copy will be accepted. Quotes submitted by facsimile will not be accepted. The Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-35, July 14, 2009 (www.acquisition.gov). The Government contemplates a firm-fixed price commercial item contract award. This procurement is a small business set aside with a small business size standard of less than $7.0M annual sales under NAICS code 541611. Award is limited to U. S. citizens see H.7.2. The Government’s estimate for this procurement is $51,994 per annum. All contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov) in order to receive a contract award. This is an entry level position in the Latin America and Caribbean Regional Program office at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). This position is targeted towards individuals who have recently graduated from Bachelor and Master’s Degree programs. Applicants with an interest or experience in foreign assistance, commercial policy, economics and trade are encouraged to submit an application for consideration. The selected applicant will work for USTDA on a contract basis, billing hourly for work performed in accordance with the duties below.
