The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price modification to delivery order 0068 under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-12-G-0006 to the Bell Boeing Joint Program Office, 401 Tiltrotor Drive, Amarillo, TX 79111 on a sole-source basis to revise ECP-977, and to address electronic component obsolescence in the Multimode Radar (MMR) P/N 3199000-0002. This effort includes the Non-Recurring Engineering to perform assurance testing for the integration of two (2) replacement components (Surface Mount Analog to Digital Converter; and Switch) located within the MMR system utilized in the CV-22. Bell-Boeing is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the V-22 Tiltrotor aircraft and is the only known source that possesses the requisite knowledge and expertise required to perform this effort.
