The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-07-G-0008 to the Bell Boeing Joint Program Office, 401 Tiltrotor Drive, Amarillo, TX 79111 on an ‘other than full and open' competitive basis to address obsolescence driven issues. This effort will address electronic component obsolescence in the Multimode Radar (MMR). This effort includes the Non-Recurring Engineering of five (5) components located within the MMR system utilized in the CV-22. The parts impacted are Aero/Flex 1553 Driver (P/N UT69151XTE15/GC); High Power Zener Diode (P/N 10EZ6.8); Microcircuit/EEPLD (P/N ATF22V10C-10JU); MICROCIRCUIT, DIGITAL, MEMORY, RAM, STATIC (P/N 5962-8861105LX); and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) (P/N 5962-9096501MUX). Bell-Boeing is the only known source that possesses the requisite knowledge and expertise required to perform this effort.
