This is a commercial item, combined synopsis/solicitation for equipment used for large fishing net repairs. Government may award a firm-fixed-price order in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13 utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures not to exceed $150K. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541380 with a $14 million size standard.

The Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC), Resource Ecology & Fisheries Management (REFM) Division requires North Pacific seabird bycatch necropsy program support. The period of performance consists of a base period from December 1, 2013 through August 31, 2014 and two (2) one year options from September 1, 2014 through August 31, 2015 and September 1, 2015 through August 31, 2016.

All interested concerns must submit a quotation and documentation by September 24, 2013 at 10:00AM Pacific time. All responses must be in writing. A Request for Quote (RFQ) with the Statement of Work and clauses is incorporated as an attachment as part of this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A firm-fixed-price order may be issued on or before September 27, 2013.

This procurement also requires contractors to complete the electronic representations and certifications at the SAM website. All vendors doing business with the Government are required to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). NO award can be made unless the vendor is registered in SAM.
