Sealed Bids for the construction of the Northland Drive Improvement Project will be received by the City of Cameron, at the office of the City Clerk, 205 N. Main, Cameron, MO 64429, until 2:00 p.m. local time on August 3, 2023, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The sealed bids must be clearly labeled, “Northland Drive Improvement Project.” The Project consists of re-constructing Northland Drive between Walnut Street and the road to the new community park. Project will include the addition of a turning lane at the Walnut Street intersection, storm sewer, and 5-foot wide ADA-compliant sidewalks along both sides of Northland Drive. Driveways along the project will be reconstructed, as needed. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. The project will be awarded to the lowest, best, and most responsive bidder. The City of Cameron reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any technical formalities, and to negotiate with any responding Contractor or third-party to ensure that the City receives the best pricing available.
