NASA Headquarters intends to exercise FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services and increase both the Firm Fixed Price & Time & Materials Ceiling, with Universal Services Provider, to extend contract NNH16CA02C for HVAC services at the NASA Headquarters Building.

These services include scheduled preventative maintenance services and unscheduled maintenance.  The preventative maintenance portion of the contract is fixed firm price and the unscheduled maintenance portion of the contract is time and material. 

All responsible sources may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact. The capability statement should include, but is not limited to, the company name, address, phone number, point of contact, and any relevant qualifications.

No solicitation exists for this synopsis, therefore do not request one.

All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing via e-mail only to [email protected] no later than March 26, 2021. Telephone questions will not be accepted.

This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred by interested parties in preparation of information or documents related to this option exercise and increase in value. A determination by the Government to exercise the aforementioned option clause and increase in value and not compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
