The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central intends to issue a sole-source firm-fixed price contract to Abbott Laboratories for a six-month period of performance starting on 1 April 2019. This requirement is for the lease six (6) analyzers and associated reagents with FDA approval for chemistry and immunoassay testing under a cost-per-test arrangement for the Department of Pathology and Area Laboratory Services, William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), El Paso, Texas. The Abbott Architect analyzers are currently in place. The bridge contract will allow for continuance of critical laboratory testing for WBAMC while the follow-on contract is finalized.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responses received, to include capability statements shall be considered by the Government. The capability statements shall include sufficient information that the vendor is capable of providing similar analyzers, and can fully install with completed correlation/validation studies no later than 1 April 2019.
