The U. S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM, former BBG/IBB) intends to award a non-competitive contract to Artdoc Fest & Media Biedriba for the purpose of promoting Current Time. Advertising and promotion at this festival allows USAGM to reach a large audience that is relevant to both distribution of Current Time content and the acquisition of content for the channel itself.  No other festival of this type takes place in both Moscow and Riga and reaches the desired audience. The Agency’s broadcasting priorities to this area would not be fulfilled without this promotion via sponsorship of this festival.  Therefore, USAGM Prague intends to award this contract, valued below the Simplified Acquisitions Threshold to Artdoc Fest & Media Biedriba.
