The 56th Contracting squadron, Luke AFB, AZ, intends to award a sole source contract to Harris Corporation, 1680 University Ave, Rochester, NY 146410; to provide Multiband Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Radios (Mfr. Part #RF-310M-HH002). Currently, the government recognizes a single manufacturer and product that is approved for the Department of Defense (DoD) use and fullfills the requirements of the F-35 Foreign Military Sales training syllabus. The Harris RF-310-HH002 is assigned J/F-12 09512 and is an authorized emitter for the DoD. The contract will be a firm-fixed price. This acquisition will be fulfilled under simplified acquisition procedures and other than full and open competition authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 11 May 2017.
