This requirement is for the service contract of the T12 electron microscope. The servicing of this microscope is essential for the quality and productivity of the ongoing research in the NIDDK. FEI is the manufacturer and the only authorized dealer for providing maintenance to this machine.

Vendors may identify in writing their interest and capability in response to this requirement or submit a proposal. However, all responses received before the closing date of this announcement will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

All responsible sources may submit a quotation which, if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. Award to be made based on response offering the best value to the Government considering price and response time.
