The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central intends to issue a sole-source firm-fixed price contract to Gen-Probe, Inc for a six-month period of performance starting on 1 April 2019. This requirement is for the lease of the Panther System analyzer and associated reagents with FDA approval for the following Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) testing on a single platform for William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), Fort Bliss, Texas. STD testing include Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhea (CT/NG); Trichomonas vaginalis (TV); Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and HPV 16 18/45 genotype. The bridge contract will allow for continuance of STD testing for WBAMC while the follow-on contract is finalized.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responses received, to include capability statements will be considered by the Government. The capability statements shall include sufficient information that the vendor is capable of providing similar analyzers, and can fully install with completed correlation/validation studies no later than 1 April 2019.
