The Government intends to award a Firm- Fixed Price sole-source contract to MIC, Industries. This firm is the sole manufacturer of the Ultimate Building Machine comprehensive product line, including equipment, and related spare parts; no other source will satisfy the Governments requirement. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333120 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. All responses received within ten (10) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct competitive procurement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 2:00 PM Pacific Time, 15 February 2014. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect throughout the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-72 effective 30 January 2014. This requirement is determined to be available from only one source because of the intellectual property rights held by the company.
