To conduct accelerometry research, the group uses tunable lasers operating in the telecom band (1550 nm) to readout the length of an optical cavity-based accelerometer at 100 kHz. The lasers must be able to lock to a moving cavity by rapidly tuning over a wide range (5GHz). The locking requires high performance servo-control electronics to be used with the laser.
To conduct their accelerometry research, the group requires an upgrade of an existing Toptica laser servo system to include the following:
• A new fast-tunable laser head operating at 1550 nm
• Current, temperature and scan control
• Electronics to operate the existing laser head without the servo system
• A Fabry-Perot interferometer to measure the laser
Toptica Photonics, Inc. is uniquely qualified to meet all of the required specifications as they are the original equipment manufacturer and have the propriety designs in which can ensure 100% compatibility and interchangeability for direct integration for "plug and play" results for these equipment upgrades to be used with the existing laser and servo laser system.
Toptica Photonics, Inc. has no other authorized distributors or resellers and is the only source that can supply the equipment required to upgrade the current system.
