This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to
announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award
a firm-fixed-price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to EPIImaging, LLC (Cage: 7R2L9).

The requirement is for the purchase of the following:

The Government intends to negotiate solely with EPIImaging, LLC under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b),
due to only one source being reasonably available to meet the Government's needs. Acquisition of
Commercial Items under FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13 apply. The
applicable NAICS Code is 333314 and the size standard is 500 employees.

Please be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding.

This notice of intent is not a request for quote; however, any responsible source that believes that it can
fulfill the requirement and is authorized by the manufacturer to sell the quoted product may submit a
quote which may be considered by the agency. Comments, questions, or concerns regarding this notice
may be submitted via email to Isabella Busalacchi at [email protected] by Wedenesday, 20
January, 2021. Responses received before the stated date may be considered by the Government for
purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the
Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely
within the discretion of the Government.
