PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED.
The Department of the Navy (DoN) intends to negotiate a one-time sole source contract with Stryker Communications, 571 Silveron Blvd., Flower Mound, TX 75028 is the sole source provider for service and maintenance of five government-owned Stryker Switchpoint Infinity 3 units for the Naval Hospital Pensacola, Pensacola, Florida. This service and maintenance is a preventive maintenance agreement which will be preform in a manner which will minimize corrective maintenance and will include but not limited to calibration, adjustment, lubrication, updating software for security, safety, or system functionality issues. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i).
This notice will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.fbo.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 811219.
Based on market research conducted and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined DON's requirement can only be provided by the Stryker Communications as they are the sole authority authorized and certified to provide the repair and maintenance to these Stryker Switchpoint Infinity 3 units.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to this office by 0900 am, EST, 25 June, 2019 by email to Renee Turner, Contract Specialist, at [email protected]. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
