The upgraded system shall include a faster instrument controller (ADC with a 50 Msps and analogue electronics with a cutoff frequency of at least 10 MHz or higher) and a wavelength tunable laser with faster repetition rate (up to 1000 kHz). This upgrade is required to allow CNST to leverage CNST fast AFM custom made probes for chemical imaging.
Due to patents, proprietary hardware/software and closely held trade secrets, market research has found that Anasys is the only company authorized to perform the necessary work required to upgrade the NanoIR-1instrument, configure the Analysis Studio Software (proprietary to Anasys Instruments) and perform nano IR-1 calibration routines. As no other company can provide the requirements and no distributors were identified, the requirement can ONLY be obtained directly from Anasys Instruments.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334516 - Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, and the size standard is 1,000 employees.
