CITY OF CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA, CALIFORNIA NOTICE INVITING BIDS For FY 2023/2024 Storm Drain Improvement Projects Notice is hereby given that the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea is soliciting bids from qualified Contractors for work including but not limited to: Pavement trenching, demolition of existing storm drain facilities including piping and concrete structures. additionally, installation of new PVC and HDPE storm drainpipe, concrete structures including catch basins, manholes, and headwalls. The disturbed areas will be restored to pre-construction conditions via trench, and asphalt reconstruction. The various work will take place on Lincoln Street between 1 st Avenue and 2 nd Avenue, 2 nd Avenue between Lincoln Street and Monte Verde Street, 11 th Avenue between Carmelo Street and San Antonio Avenue, Santa Fe Street between 8 th Avenue and 9 th Avenue, and Acacia Way at Flanders Way. There will be a Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Site Tour at 10:00 AM on August 14, 2024, at the intersection of Lincoln Street and 2 nd Avenue. This meeting will allow bidders to receive an overview of the project, review the working areas, and ask questions.
