Based on the results of the market research, and as the contractor is the only authorized provider of the "Train the Trainer" course, a sole source award to LivingWorks USA Education, Inc. has been determined to be in the best interest of Government.

16 AF at JBSA requires peer-to-peer, in person suicide intervention skills instruction for personnel to become certified as trainers. To ensure all personnel receive the same suicide intervention training, JBSA requires their suicide intervention trainers to go through LivingWorks ASIST Training. The contractor will provide to 24 students the LivingWorks Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). A 5-day Training for Trainers (T4T) course will be conducted by Living Works Certified Training Coaches in accordance with guidance provided by their corporate policy, standards of practice and ethical considerations. All students who pass the course shall be provided with certifications by Living Works to teach the 2-day ASIST Intervention program. These students will use the accompanying training material. The anticipated period of performance is 25 October 2021 – 29 October 2021.
