Princeton Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), a federally funded research and development center operated by Princeton University under contract to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is seeking fabrication, documentation and delivery of 48 each TZM (titanium-zirconium-molybdenum) tiles per PPPL Drawing E-ED1228 and 48 each TZM tiles per PPPL Drawing E-ED-1229, (96 tiles total), with minimum tensile strength of 600 MPa at 25 degrees Centigrade and material certified as containing 0.4 to 0.55% titanium, 0.06 to 0.12% zirconium, 0.01 to 0.04% carbon and <0.05% oxygen. The tiles will be used as armor for the Inboard Divertor of the National Spherical Torus Experiment (NSTX). PPPL desires delivery of all tiles to be complete not later than March 25, 2011; however, earlier partial deliveries are desired. Partial deliveries must include a minimum of 12 pieces of each style.
