The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service (AAIHS), Jicarilla Service Unit (JSU), has a requirement for Nutritionist services for its health care facility located at Dulce, New Mexico.

The requirements are for an estimated 1161 hours per contract year. The Offeror will be required to perform up to 15 days per month. Depending upon management's needs and may exceed the normal hours. The contract will be awarded as an Indefinite-quantity contract for base year and four one year option for renewal. The Offeror must have a valid/current Registered Dietician license and New Mexico state license, Certification as a Diabetes Educator, and proof of current professional liability coverage. Offeror must demonstrated experience in providing individualized nutrition counseling and teaching Childbirth Education classes, Breastfeeding classes, Diabetes classes and food preparation demonstrations.

Offeror must be established providers under an LLC, Inc. or other allied medical organizations. Without these requirements the Government cannot award a contract to the successful offeror.

All interested offerors must meet the Responsibility Factors. The Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 11-242-SOL-00024 will be posted at www.fbo.gov on February 14, 2011. The solicitation document comprise of all information including the estimated requirements, scope of work, and applicable attachments.
