Sealed bids from certified Small Business Concerns only will be accepted for the Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge, Project FW-OCBA T302(1), Solicitation Number 693C73-19-B-000034, located in Prince William County, Virginia. The project consists of the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Deephole Point Road and Easy Road within the Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge. The work includes aggregate roadway surfacing, the replacement of existing pipe culverts with precast concrete arch culverts, reinforced concrete foundation and headwalls, including riprap placement, drainage improvements, placement of riprap, and other miscellaneous work. The project will be split into multiple work schedules/contract options, with the cost of the entire project expected to fall within the price range of $500,000 to $1,000,000.

Bid documents should be issued on or about July 15, 2019. Bid due date and location will be specified on the SF 1442, Block 13a of the Solicitation.

IMPORTANT PAYMENT REQUIREMENT

PLEASE NOTE
For security reasons, individuals requiring access to the EFLHD must present a valid photo ID and be escorted to their destination by a Government employee. Due to new security provisions, all visitors attending bid openings are urged to arrive at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled bid opening. All visitors must register with the receptionist in Room 100. A Government employee will collect the bids. Prior to bid opening, a Government employee will escort all bidders to the bid opening. Unescorted visitors will be denied entry and no exceptions will be made.
