Clemson University intends to sole source the renewal of our OCLC Services renewal. This purchase is to be sole sourced because it is that OCLC is the consortium of libraries that produces WorldCat the Online Union Catalog & provide services such as locating, acquiring, and preserving library materials among other computer library services. OCLC no longer uses providers for their service they do it themselves. The total price of all services is $110,886.74, which includes all the services offered by the OCLC. Bidder’s right to protest as listed in Section 11-35-4210 in the South Carolina Consolidated Procurement Code applies to this announcement of an emergency procurement.
