GEORGIA PROCUREMENT REGISTRY INVITATION FOR BIDS ADVERTISEMENT OGLETHORPE COUNTY, GEORGIA FISCAL YEAR 2024 GDOT LMIG, GDOT LRA, TSPLOST, AND SPLOST PROJECTS Sealed proposals for furnishing all labor, material, equipment, and services necessary to successfully accomplish the following work will be received by the Board of Commissioners of Oglethorpe County, P. O. Box 261, 105 Union Point Road, Lexington, Georgia 30648, until 1:00 PM on Wednesday July 2, 2025. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Project Description: Project will consist of TRAFFIC CONTROL, GRADING COMPLETE FOR SOME NEW ASPHALT PADS, MILLING ASPHALT FOR SOME NEW INTERSECTION PADS, DEEP PATCHING, OGI ASPHALT LEVELING, ASPHALT RESURFACING, FULL DEPTH RECLAMATION, SHOULDER BUILDING & GRASSING, AND RESTRIPING ON COUNTY ROADS AND NEW ASPHALT PADS. Mrs. Amy Forrester, Oglethorpe County Clerk will be Oglethorpe County¿s contact person for acquiring bid packages. Mrs. Forrester¿s phone number at the Oglethorpe County Commissioners Office is (706) 743-5270. Blank bid forms may be picked up at the Oglethorpe County Commissioners Office at 105 Union Point Road, Lexington, Georgia. Contract Time: All work is to be accomplished within 6 months of the Project Notice-To-Proceed-Date to be issued by Oglethorpe County. Payment: Contractor to submit monthly pay request to Oglethorpe County and Oglethorpe County agrees to review and process pay requests within 30 days from receipt. A total of ten percent (10%) of progress payments, if applicable, will be retained until final acceptance by Oglethorpe County has occurred. Successful bidder will strictly adhere to all Current Georgia DOT Regulations, Current Standards and Specifications, all Current Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices guidelines, and all requirements included in the Project Agreement between Oglethorpe County and the successful bidder. Oglethorpe County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
