NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) intends to enter into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with TRANE for HVAC Services to a proprietary HVAC Unit.to support the educational goals at BIE¿s Ojo Encino School under the authority of FAR 8.405-6 The Government anticipates the award of a ONE YEAR contract (365 Days). Ojo Encino Day School main school building 1793 has air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment (HVAC) that require inspections and preventive maintenance. The contractor TRANE shall provide an annual inspection/preventive maintenance and follow-up with three running inspections on the HVAC equipment. New Mexico Navajo Central Agency Facilities Management has used the services to TRANE at other TRANE equipment installations and each time has provided excellent services. The contractor¿s technicians perform their work in a professional matter and are technically competent. They are licensed to perform the level the work required on the TRANE HVAC units and proprietary ancillary equipment to maintain warranty and meet industrial code compliance and regulations. No solicitation is available and no technical questions will be answered for this requirement. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 926150, Regulation, Licensing, and Inspection of Miscellaneous Commercial Sectors.
