ADVANCE NOTICE OF UPCOMING SOLICITATION:

This is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-aside Invitation for Bid (IFB) related to the Tracy and Olinda 500kV Substation COTP Shunt Reactor Breaker Replacement Project. The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237130 with a size standard of $39.5 million. This acquisition will be handled as an IFB prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 14 and 36. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. The project magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Places of performance will be in Shasta and San Joaquin Counties, California.

This project includes the removal and replacement of two (2) sets of 500kV power circuit breakers, installation of surface trench, associated electrical equipment, and site development for Olinda Substation COTP Reactor Breaker Replacements; and the removal and replacement of one (1) 500KV power circuit breaker, installation of a surface trench, associated electrical equipment, and site development for Tracy 500KV Substation COTP Reactor Breaker Replacement.

No CD-ROMS or hardcopy documents will be distributed. No phone calls will be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency.
