General Project Description:
The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, material, and equipment and performing all operations to complete the repair of existing or construction of new stone structures and revetments and notching or removal of existing structures, and appurtenant work.
Responses should include a brief capability statement of no more than three
pages indicating the experience and capability of a variety of construction
tasks to include, but not limited to: River based river training structure
construction on an active navigation channel. Efforts include placing Graded
Stone A (5,000 pound top size stone), dike degradation, recycling stone and
verification surveys in Reach MRM 300 -0. The anticipated work would be
within the geographic boundaries of the Mississippi Valley Division (MVD),
and Region 4.
A.) Capability Statements:
Note: Under capability statements below, in addition to listing general
experience, specifically include a listing of any USACE projects on which you
demonstrated the required capability, including levee projects.
1. Briefly explain your experience with working on an active river navigation
channel and working with river based equipment.
2. Briefly explain your experience with Grade Stone A river training structure
construction, dike degradation, recycling stone, and verification surveys.
3. Briefly explain your experience with developing quality assurance project
plans.
