The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract for the renewal of its OMEGA Annual Bundle Software Site License, OMEGA-SERV, and OMEGA-CH10 software. OMEGA software is used to support flight test programs to configure data acquisition system hardware and perform data validation testing/aircraft pre-flights.

The OMEGA software currently in use was developed by Wyle Laboratories, Inc. Telemetry and Data Systems and is the only software that will ensure system compatibility and interoperability with existing systems as well as the only source for the site license renewal. Therefore, the Government intends to award this requirement on a sole source basis to Wyle Laboratories, Inc., 44417 Pecan Court, California, MD 20619-3272 under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services or supplies will satisfy the agency requirements. The FSC Code is 7030 and the NAICS code is 511210 with a size standard of $25M.
