Purpose and objective: CDC's mission is to promote health and quality of life by preventing and controlling disease, injury and disability, NIOSH provides national and world leadership to prevent work-related illness, injury, disability, and death by gathering information, conducting scientific research, and translating the knowledge gained into products and services. Stakeholders include practitioners, regulatory bodies such as OSHA, DOD, DOE, DHS and EPA, and academic programs
The purpose of this acquisition is to procure a computationally-efficient robust Bayesian framework to incorporate possibly informative prior distributions from expert exposure assessment judgment, exposure models, and other exposure estimation methods into a data interpretation, analysis, and decision-making system specifically for the small sample (n=3-20 objective exposure measurements) occupational exposure compliance problem.
