The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a Purchase Order to Opex Corporation of Moorestown, New Jersey for Three Opex AS3690I US – Model 51 Mounting for Retro-fit and Service for the Opex AS 3690 Scanner. The contractor must provide to the Government a single source (point of contact) for technical support and information for software problems, questions, and failures. An automated answering system is not acceptable. The technical support must be available through a toll-free telephone number that is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week (24 x 7) to all government help desk personnel. Other organizations that believe they are capable of meeting the SSA requirements are invited to submit the information establishing a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. If the SSA does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing this requirement, the agency shall issue a sole source award of the product and service under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. This is NOT a Request for Proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the information received. Verbal responses are NOT acceptable and will not be considered.
