The NYS Department of Health AIDS Institute intends to amend its contract with Adapt Pharma, Inc. for an additional supply of an FDA-approved intranasal drug used to reverse opioid overdose. A competitive procurement is not feasible at this time because Adapt Pharma is the only producer of this drug and this is the only drug that is approved by the US Food and Drug Administration for this purpose.
