The purpose of this synopsis is to announce that the Tennessee Army National guard (TNARNG) intends to solicit a Firm Fixed Price sole source contract with Stereo Optical Company Inc. located at 8600 W Catalpa Ave STE 703, Chicago, Illinois 60656 for the purpose of acquiring the OPTEC 2300 Armed Forces Vision Screener for the State Surgeon Office of TNARNG. Stereo Optical Company Inc. is the sole provider of the said machine/equipment.

The NAICS code for this acquisition is 339115 Ophthalmic Goods Manufacturing with small business size standard of 1,000 number of employees. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition is based upon a response from the manufacturer. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency.
