The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to award a contract for the provision of Optometry Services for the United States Penitentiary (USP) Big Sandy, Inez, Kentucky. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous quote to the government. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and four one-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the government. The estimated quantities for the base year and each option year are three (8) hour sessions per month, 288 sessions per year with each session defined as one (1) hour in length. Services will be performed for individuals who are in the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a security correctional environment.
